Lego Robotics
After School Program
We are piloting the Lego Robotics after-school program at Goleta Valley Junior High. Students can participate in the FIRST Lego League Challenge, which this year features the theme 'Ocean: Submerged Robotic Game Mission.' You can check out this video for more details. Students will explore various scientific principles related to ocean health and will then design their robots to accomplish specific tasks.

To ensure the after-school program is accessible to students from all socioeconomic backgrounds, there is no charge associated with joining the team. Team members will work together with mentors on fundraising to cover the costs of materials, tournaments, and basic operational expenses. We also rely on grants and local sponsors to support our program. Your donation will enable us to sustain our program, allowing even more students to benefit from this opportunity.
