Congratulation to Team GoMariners winning the first place in both Robotic Game and Robotic Design in the Camarillo Qualifying tournament. They advanced to the Ventura Regional and received the Rising All Star Award. 

 

Building a LEGO robot to tackle a series of challenges may sound like pure fun, but what stood out most was how much the team grew over these past few months. As they put it, “we failed more than we succeeded.” Their robot broke down, veered off, and misfired countless times, and it can be very frustrating. But through the numerous cycles of failing, adjusting, and retesting, they ultimately achieved their highest score in the competition. We couldn’t be more proud of them.
